علق محمد عبد الجليل، نجم الأهلي السابق، على الخسارة التي نالها الأحمر في مباراة اليوم أمام بالميراس البرازيلي، بهدفين دون رد، وذلك ضمن منافسات بطولة كأس العالم للأندية، موضحاً رأيه في أداء بعض اللاعبين.

والتقى الأهلي مع بالميراس، على أرضية ملعب “ميت لايف” بمدينة نيويورك الأمريكية، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثانية من مرحلة المجموعات.

وقال محمد عبد الجليل في تصريحات عبر قناة “الأولى المصرية”: “حتى لو الأهلي توج بكأس العالم للأندية الشامتين سيقولون أي كلام، أنا لا أريد أن يقسو أحد على اللاعبين أو المدرب، الأخير لم يتولى المسؤولية إلا من شهر، ودخل على فريق (معلمين)”.

وأضاف: “كان لا يجب تغيير طريقة لعب الأهلي، وإحداث ثورة في الطريقة، المدرب يُغير نظام فريق، وبدلًا من أن الأهلي كان يلعب بشكل جماعي، اصبح كل لاعب يريد أن يلعب بشكل فردي، أنا صُدمت من موقف تريزيجيه في المباراة الماضية”.

وتابع :”ما أخشاه أن يتكرر معهم سيناريو فريق الأحلام في الزمالك، كنا فريقا قويا ولكن للأسف لم نكن نحب بعض، فأخشى أن يحدث ذلك مع الأهلي وسط كثرة النجوم”.

وأفاد:”مروان عطية نرفع له القبعة، ومحمد بن رمضان يذكرني بـ أفشة، أنا لا يجب أن أتعاقد مع لاعب بملايين الدولارات من أجل أن يكون مستواه مثل لاعب عندي في الفريق”.

وأشار: “زيزو تائه ولم أراه إلا عندما لعب ناحية اليمين، المفترض أن عماد النحاس يتكلم مع المدرب بشأن هذا الأمر”.

According to The Chronicle, Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is keen on moving to Newcastle this summer, in a development from a previous rumour claiming the Magpies could be offered his services.

The 29-year-old sees it as a way to “resurrect his stalled career”, having fallen out of favour under Pep Guardiola this season, and his price tag is now seen as a “fraction” of the £100m City paid Aston Villa for his services back in 2021.

Grealish’s stock has fallen over the past year or so – City wouldn’t be considering selling him if that wasn’t the case – but that’s not to say that he couldn’t be a shrewd signing for Newcastle.

The England international, who has won three top-flight titles with City, could love the idea of being able to express himself more than at the Etihad, as was the case during his Villa days, with Guardiola’s style of play more precise and robotic. The Spaniard may have struggled to give his player minutes this season, but he has still heaped praise on him in the past:

“I want him to make goals and assists and he does too but it’s not about that. It’s about his contribution without the ball and what he can produce for the other ones. We didn’t sign Jack Grealish for the incredible goals or assists at Aston Villa. It was for another reason. He competes with top, top players as well and he knows it perfectly. وتطرق إلى الفيديو المسرب الذي ظهر فيه هاني شكري، عضو مجلس الإدارة الحالي، وهو يسيء إلى جماهير الأهلي، مشددا على ضرورة تقديم اعتذار رسمي.

وقال: “قلت لهاني شكري امسك لسانك، ولا بد من الاعتذار لجماهير الأهلي ما يقال في جلسات الأصدقاء يختلف تماما عن ما يقال وأنت مسؤول أمام الكاميرات”.

وأضاف: “لا داعي للتهجم على هاني شكري، عليه فقط أن يخرج ويعتذر بشكل لائق، وينتهي الأمر أنا من أنصار ستر الناس، خاصة في ظل انتشار الكاميرات في كل مكان”.

وختم أحمد مرتضى تصريحاته قائلا: “حين تكون مسؤولا في ناد كبير مثل الزمالك، لا بد أن تحسب كل تصرفاتك بدقة، لأنك تمثل اسما وتاريخا عريقا، كنت دائما حريصا على صورتي ومظهري في كل ظهور إعلامي”.

Diferente do que está sendo visto nas Copas, a situação da equipe no Campeonato Brasileiro não é das melhores. Longe dos líderes na tabela da competição e vivendo um jejum sem vitórias, o confronto deste domingo (14), contra o Red Bull Bragantino, chega com algumas metas em mente.

O São Paulo, até o momento, tem 26 pontos somados. O Massa Bruta vive uma situação um pouco melhor, com 30 pontos e mais próximo dos seis primeiros colocados.

O encontro, que acontece no estádio do Morumbi, chega com algumas responsabilidades ‘nas costas’ do Tricolor.

Fim de jejum sem vitórias na competição
​Sair com um resultado positivo contra a equipe de Bragança não será somente uma vitória comum para o São Paulo, mas sim o fim de um ciclo que acompanha a equipe desde a 16ª rodada.

Há seis partidas, o Tricolor paulista não consegue sair com os três pontos. Neste meio tempo, foram quatro empates e duas derrotas. O último jogo que venceu pelo Brasileirão foi contra o Atlético-GO, no começo de julho, onde a partida terminou em 2 a 1 para a equipe de Ceni.

Além disso, uma vitória também melhoraria o quesito que diz sobre a alta quantidade de empates que o time guardou na competição até o momento. Neste ano, foram onze empates, cinco derrotas e apenas cinco vitórias.

O São Paulo também vive um jejum de dois meses sem vencer pelo Brasileiro no estádio do Morumbi. A última vitória foi há quase dois meses, contra o América-MG, pela 11ª rodada – que terminou em 1 a 0 no placar, com gol de Patrick.

Melhorar situação na tabela e evitar chance de ‘repeteco’ de 2021
E lógico: esta sequência de empates e a falta de derrotas iria refletir na situação da equipe na tabela. Como dito antes, o São Paulo conta com 26 pontos somados. Porém, o que preocupa é a distância dos primeiros colocados – que têm quase dez pontos a mais.

O medo é de repetir as cenas aterrorizantes que o Tricolor vivenciou no último ano. Se de um lado, está com uma boa diferença dos primeiros colocados, do outro, está com uma certa proximidade dos últimos. Por exemplo, há somente cinco pontos de diferença entre o São Paulo e o Fortaleza – que está na zona de rebaixamento.

Em 2021, a situação vivida pelo São Paulo assustou. O time que nunca foi rebaixado – em toda a sua história – chegou perto de vivenciar um dos seus maiores pesadelos.

Ano passado, na 21ª rodada, a equipe estava com a mesma quantidade de pontos que apresenta atualmente: 26.Apenas na penúltima rodada, após uma vitória por 3 a 1 contra o Juventude, o clube conseguiu garantir mais um ano em ‘segurança’ na série A.

Somando o Brasileiro do último ano e as 21 rodadas de 2022, em 59 jogos, foram 16 vitórias, 26 empates e 17 derrotas. Isto é, 41,8% de aproveitamento – nem metade.

Um bom resultado em cima do Red Bull Bragantino afastaria um pouco esse temor de repetir os passos da última temporada – uma vez que o Tricolor somaria 29 pontos e ficaria mais próximo de equipes que apresentam uma situação bem melhor.

Manter a moral que ergueu nas Copas
​Ao tratar a situação do São Paulo no Campeonato Brasileiro e nas duas outras competições que está vivo – no caso, na Copa Sul-Americana e na Copa do Brasil – uma nova discussão surge: o Brasileirão deixou de ser prioridade?

Na última semana, o Tricolor paulista se classificou para as semifinais do continental ao eliminar o Ceará na Arena Castelão, depois de passar por uma disputa de pênaltis. Porém, se pelo lado do Brasileiro vive um jejum de vitórias no Morumbi, na Sul-Americana foi diferente.

A equipe de Ceni chegou à casa do rival com a vantagem de um gol – adquirido justamente no Cícero Pompeu de Toledo. Algo idêntico aconteceu contra o América-MG, pela Copa do Brasil.

Mesmo que o jogo de volta aconteça na próxima semana, chegará com a vantagem para resolver as quartas de final – com um gol marcado em casa também.

Todavia, tanto Rogério Ceni quanto jogadores do elenco descartaram que o Campeonato Brasileiro ‘tenha sido deixado de lado’ em virtude das outras competições.

– Hoje estamos em uma situação de meio de tabela já ficando apertado. Temos um jogo em casa e não temos o tempo de recuperação igual ao do Bragantino, mas vamos fazer um time competitivo para enfrentá-los – disse Rogério Ceni durante a coletiva de imprensa após eliminar o Ceará.

Na reapresentação da equipe, na sexta-feira (12), Patrick também ressaltou a importância de retornar o foco para a competição nacional.

– É virar a chave. Já estamos há um bom tempo sem vencer no Campeonato Brasileiro. É virar a chave e saber da responsabilidade que a gente tem na competição. Buscar a vitória no Brasileiro – disse o camisa 88.

Assim, sair com a vitória em casa será um bom fator para reerguer a moral do Tricolor na competição, além de deixar o time em uma situação ainda mais tranquila e ‘respirando’ em paz.

O duelo deste domingo (14) acontece às 16h, no estádio do Morumbi.

The ECB are the next highest earners in the proposed model, potentially earning $41.33 million (6.89%) with Cricket Australia next highest with $37.53 million (6.25%).The PCB is projected to make over $34.51 million (5.75%) leaving the remaining eight Full Members with below 5% of the earnings. The proposals, reported by ESPNcricinfo last month, are due to be ratified by the ICC and were met with complaints of further exacerbating the financial inequality throughout the game. Gould, who sits on the ICC chief executives committee, appreciates the disparity in real terms – even referring to the carve-up as “The Big One”, a nod to the Big Three carve up between the BCCI, ECB and CA in 2014 – but believes the proposals are justified and that India will do right by the global game, not just themselves.”When you see where that value is created, I think it’s understandable,” Gould said on the latest episode of The Final Word podcast. “There may be tweaks in the margins here or there, but the dominant position India is in is based on India’s ability to drive revenues and drive the sport forward. One point four billion people, one sport, ten [IPL] teams, one international team.”What I’m also fascinated by is India’s determination also to assist the world game. You look at the percentages and go ‘Well, that’s not fair it should be split equally’. But we’ve got to look at the size of the market. India play as many international fixtures as any other team in the world. And they do that because they know when they tour as an international team, they bring interest and revenue to that home side. I think it’s important to see things in the round, in that regard.”I get it (the financial inequality). But I also understand how important India is, because without them we wouldn’t have the kind of revenues that are coming into the game. And I do think India make huge efforts to be responsible partners in this when I see the amount they travel around the world, taking India everywhere. I do think it is a balance.”I think there is collective decision-making, both in India and within the ICC, and I think there is a real determination and understanding we need [for] cricket to be expanding and we need it to be healthy around the world.”Gould suggested that the money could be better shared around the game if boards pay touring sides, a shift from the current situation where host boards retain all revenue generated. Over the last few years, that situation has served to highlight inequalities throughout the game’s various markets, particularly when it comes to Test cricket.Full members like West Indies, South Africa and New Zealand are in the process of backtracking from red-ball cricket given the costs incurred to host Tests are not worthwhile as far as their own domestic deals are concerned, particularly at the expense of limited-overs fixtures. “When somebody tours England, we don’t pay them a fee, we don’t pay their players,” Gould said. “The way that it’s done in bilateral cricket at the moment is you retain your own home domestic revenues. And when you travel away, they received their domestic revenue. That’s where the disparity of markets comes in. That’s something we will want to and will need to look at in terms of encouraging people not just to play Test but make sure they can pay their players, and pay them well, so that they want to play Test cricket again.”More cricket being played around the world a ‘good thing’On the subject of franchise cricket, the former Surrey chief executive regards the increase in T20 competitions around the world as an example of cricket’s growth. Moreover, he is of the belief the upcoming Major League T20 in the United States can help the game reach new, high-yield markets.”You look at the T20 franchises and all these leagues that are being created – there is more cricket being played around the world now than there ever has been before. That has got to be a good thing.”And then there are mother markets in play. The States is an interesting market. What happens if we get cricket in the Olympics, which is in the States (Los Angeles, 2028)? There’s another key, pivotal moment for it. There will be some bumpy patches along the way in terms of what direction we take, but never mind that. Regarding the Hundred, the ECB’s own short-form competition, Gould held firm on previous comments that the competition is here to stay. He also doubled down on talk of a change from 100 balls to T20, saying the unique format helps the competition stand out among the crowd and in turn heightens the debate around the English game, allowing it to stay relevant. Now in its third year, and tied to a bumper broadcast deal that expires in 2028, Gould was unequivocal that English cricket needs the Hundred to compete effectively with the rest of the world.”You could argue it gives us a point of difference, in a very crowded market,” he said. “It is a point of difference.”You see the competition that we’re in globally now. Every country needs to have a super, primetime white ball domestic comp. We have invested very heavily in the Hundred over a number of years, both emotionally and financially. We need to make it bigger and better. We also have the Blast which we need to make bigger and better.”We are not going to take the Hundred out. We are going to make it bigger and better. We are going to make the whole of cricket, bigger and better. That is our aim. We want to do it in a really collaborative fashion where everyone feels they have a role, they have purpose and they have something to gain from this.”The format is not something that is on my agenda, in this regard, because Sky have been really supportive in driving it forward. It’s given us that point of difference. Everybody around the world, in the cricketing world, has heard of the Hundred. That’s a good thing. That’s a good thing – we like debate. When you look at sport, more than 50% of the coverage that we get is about the politics and the machinations of the sport rather than the sport itself. That’s a good thing too – as long as people are talking about the game, I’m pretty happy.”

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, but he has many other admirers from England and abroad. Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is also a player who is under consideration by the Old Trafford hierarchy, along with Wolves’ Matheus Cunha, who United are now willing to spend £67 million on to secure his signing this summer.

But the options don’t stop there, as Football Insider reported that United are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Ekitike, and now The Mirror have reported that the Red Devils have an advantage over other teams in the race to sign Ekitike, as the striker is a boyhood United fan.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested in signing Ekitike, but given he could cost as much as £60 million, there may be other options for the Red Devils to consider before turning to the Eintracht Frankfurt man.

The 24-year-old has been an impressive player in front of goal this season, netting 10 times in 29 Serie A games, as Udinese sit in the top half of the Italian table. Lucca represents a different profile for Amorim than what he currently has at Old Trafford, as the Italian is a player who can be more demanding in the box and has the physicality to hold the ball up and bring others into the game.
